Introduction

Welcome to Provil Sportslab, a sport community platform where users can create, share, and follow sport exercise fiches and courses, and connect with sport organisations. By registering an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all users of the platform, regardless of their role or how they access the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Provil Sportslab. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the minimum age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Organisations

Users may request to create a sport organisation on the platform. Organisation creation is subject to approval by a platform administrator. The user who creates an organisation becomes its Owner and is responsible for managing its members, content, and compliance with these terms.

Private organisations are only visible to their members. Public organisations and their published content are visible to all users of the platform.

Your Account

You can register using your email address and a password, or via Single Sign-On (SSO) through GitHub or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. Provil Sportslab is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

Roles & Permissions

Provil Sportslab uses a role-based permission system. Your role determines what features and content you can access on the platform. Roles are assigned by platform or organisation administrators and may be updated over time.

Account Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account at any time through your profile settings. Your request will be reviewed by a platform administrator. Upon approval, your account will be set to inactive and your associated fiches, courses, and memberships will be deactivated.

Provil Sportslab may also deactivate or delete accounts that are found to be in violation of these terms.

User-Generated Content

Users may create fiches (exercise sheets), courses, and other content on the platform. By submitting content, you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it, and you grant Provil Sportslab a non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users of the platform.

You may not submit content that is:

  • Illegal, harmful, or offensive
  • Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others
  • False, misleading, or medically inaccurate — particularly for exercise instructions
  • Spam or promotional material unrelated to sport
Content Visibility

Content you submit may be placed in a Pending state and reviewed before being published. Published public content is visible to all users of the platform. Provil Sportslab reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules without prior notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or backend systems
  • Uploading malicious files or code
  • Harassing or impersonating other users
  • Scraping or automated data collection without permission
  • Using the platform for any unlawful purpose

Exercise and sport content on Provil Sportslab is user-generated and provided for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional before starting a new exercise programme. Provil Sportslab is not responsible for any injury or harm resulting from following content on the platform.
