Provil Sportslab is a sport community platform where users can create and share exercise fiches and courses, join sport organisations, and collaborate with other athletes and coaches.
Yes, Provil Sportslab is free to use. You can create an account, browse public fiches and courses, and join organisations at no cost.
You can browse public fiches and courses without an account. However, you need to be signed in to view exercise details, how-to guides, media, and to enroll in courses.
Provil Sportslab is currently available in English and Dutch. You can change your language preference in your profile settings.

Click the Sign Up button at the top of the page. You can register with your email address and a password, or sign in quickly using your existing GitHub or Google account.
Go to your profile page by clicking your name or avatar in the navigation bar. From there you can update your name, profile photo, and other details.
Your password must be at least 8 characters long and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, and one special character. A strength indicator will guide you during registration.
Yes. On Provil Sportslab you can hold multiple roles at once — for example, you can be a regular user on the platform while also being an administrator of one or more organisations.
You can submit an account deletion request from your profile settings. A platform administrator will review your request. Once approved, your account will be set to inactive and your associated fiches, courses, and organisation memberships will be deactivated.
If you registered via SSO (GitHub or Google), your login is managed through that provider. You can always sign in using the same SSO method you used to register.
A fiche is an exercise sheet that describes a specific sport exercise or activity. It can include a description, difficulty level, key points, step-by-step instructions, targeted muscles, images, a video, and a downloadable PDF.
Go to the Fiches section and click the create button. Fill in the details using the step-by-step form. If you are a regular user, your fiche will be submitted for review. Organisation and platform administrators can publish fiches directly.
When a regular user submits a fiche, it is placed in a Pending state and reviewed by a platform administrator before being published. Only you and platform administrators can see it while it is pending.
Yes. You can add tags to fiches to make them easier to find. Tags can be selected from existing ones or created by platform administrators.
Exercise instructions, images, videos, and PDFs are only visible to signed-in users. Create a free account or sign in to access the full content of any fiche.
A course is a collection of fiches grouped together by an organisation or platform administrator. Courses have a name, description, difficulty level, and can include a summary of what you will learn.
Open the course detail page and click the "Add to My Courses" button. You need to be signed in to enroll. Your enrolled courses can be found under My Courses in your dashboard.
Courses can be created by organisation administrators and platform administrators. Go to your organisation's management page and use the create course option. You can add fiches to the course using a drag-and-drop interface and set the visibility to public or private.
Public courses are visible and accessible to all users on the platform. Private courses are only visible to members of the organisation that created them.
Open the course detail page and click the "Remove from My Courses" button. This will unenroll you from the course but will not delete it from the platform.
An organisation represents a sport club, team, or group on Provil Sportslab. Organisations can create courses, manage groups and members, and publish content for their members.
You can submit a request to create an organisation from the Organisations section. A platform administrator will review your request. If approved, you will automatically become the Owner of the organisation and receive the organisation administrator role.
You can request to join a public organisation from its detail page. Organisation administrators can also invite you directly. Private organisations are only visible to existing members.
Each organisation has four roles: Owner (the founder, with full control), Admin (can manage courses, groups, and members), Teacher (an instructor role), and Member (the default role for new members). The Owner can promote or demote members between roles.
Groups are sub-teams within an organisation. Each group has a manager and can have courses and members assigned to it. Groups are managed by the group manager or organisation administrators.
Yes, you can be a member of multiple organisations at the same time, each with a different role.
